Q.    As a business or PR Agency how do I use The Press Hub?

A.     All users of The Press Hub must register before being able to subscribe.  Once registration is complete and you have received your verification code, you can then log in and choose your subscription level relevant to you and your business.    Once you choose your subscription you will be taken to Paypal for credit card payment of your subscription via the Paypal secure online payment system (you do not need a Paypal account to utilise this system).   If for some reason you are not comfortable using Paypal as the payment method you do have the choice of contacting us to make alternative arrangements via either EFT or manual credit card payment.     As soon as payment is confirmed, your subscription will become active and you can start utilising  The Press Hub to help your business gain the attention of journalists, worldwide.

Q.    As a member of the media or Non profit organisation how do I use The Press Hub?

A.     As these two subscriptions are FREE subscriptions of The Press Hub, each registration needs to be manually approved by our admin staff.  Unfortunately, due to the existance of SPAM, this is the only way we can ensure this site is kept SPAM free.   Please register for a user account and complete the required information.  Our admin team will be in touch within a short space of time to notify you of your subscription approval.

Q.    If I submit a Press Release to The Press Hub does this guarantee that I will receive  publicity and that my  Release will be used by a particular publication.

A.    No.  The Press Hub in no way guarantees that any Press Release will be used.  We purely provide a vehicle to allow journalists to source Press Releases and story ideas.  Whilst we will heavily market The Press Hub to all journalists in Australia we cannot guarantee their use of any particular Press Release.

Q.    Can I submit more than one Release at a time ?

A.    Yes.  Once your subscription fee is paid you can utilize The Press Hub for distribution of all Press Releases.

Q.    Can I use the Press Hub for more than one of my businesses or do I have to pay a subscription for each business?

A.    Once your subscription is paid you can upload as many Press Releases as you wish and relating to as many of  your businesses as you wish.  You will be required to submit your ABN number to ensure ownership of these businesses.

Q.    What format can I upload a Press Release in?

A.    Press Releases can be copied directly from Windows Notepad.  We suggest that if you have prepared your release in Word, that you copy and paste it to Notepad to remove all formatting before you then copy and paste it into the text box on The Press Hub.

Q.    How long does my Press Release stay current for?

A.    Press Releases submitted to The Press Hub will remain current on the site for a period of  8 weeks.  This enables us to keep the site content fresh and up-to-date.  Depending on the time sensitivity of the release this may be extended for an additional 4 weeks if space allows.  The reason for this is to ensure that the content on The Press Hub remains fresh and current - there is no point holding onto press releases for longer than this as they may no longer be relevant and our aim is to provide the most current and up-to-date information for the media, as possible.   Of course, if you feel that for some reason your release should remain current for a longer period due to a promotion etc, please email us to request we extend the deadline of your release.

Q.    Can I load my Press Release into more than one category?

A.    Yes.  You can upload any Press Release into more than one category however the category MUST be relevant to the Press Release.  i.e, you might have a Press Release for a new daycare centre, you could upload this to the family category as well as the children’s services category. Uploading to categories that are not relevant to your Press Release will be a breach of  the Terms & Conditions of The Press Hub.
